Gnarls Barkley “Run” Video Turned Down by MTV | ||||||||||||

| (EZ-Tracks) - Gnarls Barkley’s video for the new single “Run” has been deemed a little too crazy to air on MTV, according to a Reuters report. According to the news service, that’s because its strobe effects caused the clip to fail the Harding Test -- guidelines established to prevent TV images from triggering epileptic seizures. “I don't know exactly what's going on, but we're having issues. I think (the video) is cool. It works for me. But I'm not necessarily that easily seasick," Gnarls Barkley member Danger Mouse was quoted as saying about the flap."We can't predict how people are going to interpret it." The video of “Run” centers on the fictional public access TV show "City Vibin"' and is set in the early '90s. Justin Timberlake appears as the host of the program, on which Danger Mouse and fellow Gnarls Barkley principal Cee-Lo then perform the track. With its new album, "The Odd Couple," nearing its April 8 release date, Gnarls Barkley are about to shoot a video for the second single, "Who's Gonna Save My Soul." The “Run” video is currently available on a number of online outlets. | ||||||||||||
