| (EZ-Tracks) - After filing for a marriage license early last week, it looks as though Beyonce and Jay-Z have finally tied the knot. Probably. Details remain sketchy, but news sources including AOL and People report that the couple exchanged vows at a private ceremony Friday evening in New York. While marriage rumors have followed the couple since their relationship first emerged in 2002, the high-profile pair obtained a marriage license in Scarsdale, NY last week. The license is valid for 60 days, but it looks as though the couple didn’t wait nearly that long. Word of a possible wedding spread quickly on Friday, as flowers, tents and other supplies began arriving at Jay-Z’s Tribeca home. The arrival of numerous celebrities, including members of Beyonce’s former group, Destiny’s Child, attracted paparazzi and added to speculation. It’s likely that this was the setting for the secretive couple’s intimate wedding. However, AOL reports that Jay-Z is about to secure a $150 Million deal with music company LiveNation, and it’s possible that the festivities were merely a celebration of this sizable business deal. While the happy couple has yet to officially confirm or deny the marriage rumor, close friend Mary J. Blige reportedly congratulated the pair on their nuptials during her concert on Saturday. | ||||||||||||
