Rock Drummer Reportedly Cleared of Rape Charges | ||||||||||||

| (EZ-Tracks) - Rikki Rockett rose to fame in the ‘80s with the glam-rock band Poison. He made headlines earlier this year when he was arrested at a L.A. airport on rape charges from Mississippi.
However, according to a post on Rockett’s website, he has been cleared of charges in the case. Rockett claims he was the victim of an impostor named John Minskoff, a "career criminal" who impersonated Rockett and sexually pursued the alleged victim. "I think it was a case where the woman and her husband unfortunately believed they could extort money from me and my band," Rockett said on his website. "This is a gross example of people attempting to abuse the law for personal profit. They tried to subvert and make a mockery of the criminal justice system. It is abhorrent and disgraceful."
