Snoop Dogg’s Wife Arrested for DUI | ||||||||||||

| (EZ-Tracks) - Snoop Dogg’s wife was nailed this weekend in Fullerton, California for driving under the influence of alcohol, according to an Associated Press report. According to the report, a police officer said that the 32-year-old Shante Broadus of Sherman Oaks was stopped about 12:15 a.m. Saturday and taken to jail. She was cited and then released pending a court appearance. The police officer said that nobody else was in the car and offered no further details.
Snoop Dogg himself has had several run-ins with the law. In one incident in October 2007, he was sentenced to five years of probation for gun and drug charges. Later, Snoop Dogg's many legal issues forced San Francisco mayor Gavin Newsom to withdraw his plan to issue a proclamation to the rapper Shante Broadus and Snoop Dogg — whose real name is Calvin Broadus Jr. — were married in 1997 and have three children. Snoop Dogg is scheduled to play Seattle's Showbox SoDo on Wednesday. | ||||||||||||
