Simpson and Lachey Publicist says: 'I Didn't Lie'

Oh what a load of crap. Publicists usually know the truth, but that is neither here or there. Why should a publicist have to defend their position? A publicist’s main job is to diffuse any unwanted publicity and follow orders from their clients. Its obvious Lachey and Simpson weren’t ready to come out publicly until the 11th hour and that is their prerogative. Don’t blame the publicist, they are for hire and have to follow orders and protect their clients. Lying is part of the job description—get over it.
