| (EZ-Tracks) - While many are familiar with James Blunt’s chart topping song “You’re Beautiful,” fans should like to know that James Blunt’s path to success was beautifully emotional and moving. James Blunt grew up in England, went to boarding school at the age of seven, learned to play piano, and developed an interest in the arts. His artistic tendencies were put on hold when he joined the British military with the support of his family. Blunt served as a peacekeeper in Kosovo. During his service, he used his guitar to help him “escape” from the daily horrors he witnessed. When Blunt returned from the military after four years, he diligently pursued a career in music. His efforts paid off. Not long after his return, Blunt was able to release Back to Bedlam which features the song “You’re Beautiful,” which many now know and love – the evidence is in the charts. | ||||||||||||
