What’s Grillz Really About? | ||||||||||||

| (EZ-Tracks) - While Nelly and Paul Wall get wild in their video for Grillz, dancing it up with video-hotties that chant “Smile fo me daddy/lemme see ya grill,” it doesn’t take that big of a leap to wonder – are they really just talking about their blinging teeth, or is something else the theme of this song? And, if this song is only about blinging teeth, a bigger question creeps in to the mind of listeners… Why? Why would anyone write a song about “blinging teeth?” Some fans speculate that this song was written as a lyrical jab at Manhattan Motor Cars – whom Nelly sued in February, claiming that they had cheated him out of at least $30,000 in royalties. While the specifics of the case are somewhat shadowy, everyone knows that cars have “grills.” If you’re curious about the in-genius musings of Nelly, check out Nelly mp3s like “Hot In Here,” and “Flap Your Wings.” | ||||||||||||
