What is “Laffy Taffy?”

(EZ-Tracks) - One thing is for sure about the hit song “Laffy Taffy,” from D4L’s album Down for Life – it’s definitely not about candy, but, it is what fans want to hear. Evidence of the fans voting with their wallet comes from the fact that “Laffy Taffy” recently set a Soundscan record for the most digital-download purchases in a single week, which incidentally dethroned Kanye West’s “Gold Digger” which held the previous record. As far as what “Laffy Taffy” actually is, other than a money-making song for D4L, it seems to most likely be referring to the flesh of a girl’s buttock. Although, “Laffy Taffy” could quite possibly be a more grotesque reference to another part of the female anatomy, as study of the songs lyrics will show.

What’s next, a song about Ho-Ho’s, Ring Dings, and Yodels? Laffy Taffy may be a catchy song but is inexcusably gross, but alas, what else can you expect from D4L?
