| (EZ-Tracks) - R. Kelley’s brother, Carey Kelly, makes an easy fall guy in the child pornography case against R. Kelly. Carey Kelly has long been an aspiring music artist for a long time, met little to no success, and blames his older brother R. for ruining his chances. At one time he was even homeless. With credentials like that, it’s hard for Carey to defend himself from his brother considering that anything he says will seem to be out of spite, or quite possibly a lie. Then again, perhaps it’s not so much that Carey Kelly is an easy fall guy as he is a cheap one. Carey alleges that he was offered fifty-thousand dollars, a record deal, and a house if he provided a signed statement to his brother’s attorneys, on camera, stating that it was him on the tape and not R. However, Carey turned the deal down because he didn’t think any of the supposed rewards were worth the jail time, or the damage that it would do to his six children. R. Kelly is most famous for his song “I Believe I can Fly.” | ||||||||||||
