Eminem Mourns Death of Best Friend

(EZ-Tracks) - “Proof,” Eminem’s best friend and former D12 rapper, was shot and killed on Tuesday in a gun incident at a Detroit Club. Emimen stated that Proof helped push him to become who he is today – “that without Proof’s guidance and encouragement there would have been a Marshall Mathers, but probably not an Eminem.” Eminem goes on to say that not a day will pass without Proof’s spirit and influence around everyone – and that Proof will be missed not only as a friend, and a father, but as the heart and ambassador of Detroit Hip-Hop. The exact details of Proof’s death are somewhat sketchy; a bouncer was also shot and killed, part of the same incident. Some believe that Proof was the first to fire, although, some speculate that the bouncer shot Proof first.

It’s a sad situation, but, regardless of the current presentation of the facts, one thing remains for certain – two men are dead, probably over one man’s pride.
