Alicia Keys in The Nanny Diaries

(EZ-Tracks) - Alicia Keys is yet another musician turned actress. In her current theatrical endeavor, Alicia finds herself slated to star opposite of Scarlett Johansson in the newest adaptation of The Nanny Diaries. Alicia keys will be playing Scarlett Johansson’s best friend. Also featured in The Nanny Diaries are Laura Linney, Paul Giamatti, and Chris Evans (of The Fantastic Four and Not Another Teen Movie). The film is about a working-class college girl (Scarlett Johansson) who goes to work as a nanny for a wealthy couple in New York. Though Alicia Keys may not have had many leading roles in film, she has plenty of acting experience from television, and she has also been the composer for songs on a number of films, such as: Be Cool – “Ain’t No Reason”, Hollywood Homicide – “A Woman’s Worth”, Ali – “Fight”, Dr. Dolittle 2 – “Rear View Mirror,” and Shaft – “Rock With You.” She is most famous for her song “Fallin.”

If Alicia Keys can act as well as she can sing, fans should look forward to seeing her in The Nanny Diaries.
