Dixie Chicks’ North American Tour

(EZ-Tracks) - Tickets for the Dixie Chick’s Accidents and Accusations tour will go on sale in the first two weeks of June. If you buy the band’s “Taking the Long Way” CD, at certain retail outlets, there will be a special password that will allow fans to buy up to four presale tickets – some bloggers believe that this clever marketing ploy isn’t so clever as they don’t expect the Dixie Chicks to sell out, anywhere. Prior to the Dixie Chicks North American Tour, they’re performing in London. Allegedly, their June 15th performance at Shepherd’s Bush Empire will be their first appearance in two years since they made controversial comments about President Bush. Among some of the more well known artists appearing with the Dixie Chicks are: Janna Jacoby, Larry Knechtel, Fred Eltingham, and Sebastian Steinberg among others.

Great way for a “Country” band to kick off their North American tour… in London. That’s brilliant.
