Dead Johnny Cash Crushes Dixie Chicks’ New Album

(EZ-Tracks) - The dead Johnny Cash has surpassed the Dixie Chicks’ lame new album in a surprise upset. Dixie Chicks thought they were sitting pretty on top of The Billboard 200 when Cash’s “Best Of” Album (American V: A Hundred Highways) knocked the Chicks back in their place. Not much needs to be said of Cash’s album, other than the fact that many agree about the level of its awesomeness. Cash’s success is a testament to his longevity as a musician, unlike the Dixie Chicks who need to “get political” in order to sell albums. The Dixie Chicks’ album “Taking the Long Way” is also an apt title for their career. It’s likely that music fans can expect the Dixie Chicks to overstay their welcome and “Take the Long Way” as opposed to bowing out of the scene with some grace and dignity.

Dixie Chicks are disgusting – they’re country meets Cindy Sheehan meets Women’s Prison Movie. Those girls could use a couple tips on how to make themselves pretty – maybe they should ask K.D. Lang or Melissa Etheridge.
