| (EZ-Tracks) - Metallica has recently surrendered its songs to iTunes – finally, the bad boys of rock (who lead the charge against Napster and other internet download sites) have come around. It was on July 25th that Metallica made this surprise move – although, to be honest, it’s not all that surprising as rock stars are in the business of making money and who can deny that Metallica wouldn’t make money on iTunes? It should also be noted that Metallica’s music has been available for quite some time on other download services, however, until now, fans were only able to purchase the entire album as opposed to individual songs. In addition to songs from “Kill ‘Em All,” “Ride the Lightning,” “Master of Puppets,” and “…And Justice for All,” additional unreleased live tracks from 1989 will be made available. The fact that songs by Metallica can now be downloaded individually as opposed to “by the album” is a boon to would-be fans that are otherwise unable to stomach an entire Metallica album. | ||||||||||||
