Dixie Chicks Documentary to Premier at Film Festival | ||||||||||||

| (EZ-Tracks) - Coming from the warped activist mind of Barbara Kopple is a documentary about the Dixie Chicks entitled “Dixie Chicks – Shut Up and Sing” – incidentally, before fans realized the title was meant to be “ironic” they thought that THAT is exactly what the Chicks should do. “Shut Up and Sing” will be making its world premier in Toronto for the express reason that Toronto is notorious for having exceptionally low standards when it comes to Arts & Entertainment. For people unfamiliar with the term “there’s no such thing as bad publicity,” that phrase couldn’t be any more applicable than in the case of the Dixie Chicks and their whiny documentary. Now, 3-years after Natalie Maines (of the Chicks) made her foul comment about President Bush, she can’t stop crying about it. In reality, most fans could care less about what The Dixie Chicks have to say about President Bush, or what any celebrities have to say regarding anything – it’s only because the Dixie Chicks have ran out of material to sing about that they’ve embarked on their activist crusade. | ||||||||||||
