Annan, Jay-Z Announce campaign for Sparkling Water | ||||||||||||

| (EZ-Tracks) - Jay-Z’s gone Bono and is trying to save the world… or, so it seems. His mission is to alert the world to the dangers of clean water and its lack thereof. With MTV and Kofi Annan on board, many believe that Jay-Z may be able to move an entire generation to action, or, at least to the local convenient store where they can purchase a sparkling bottle of Jay-Z’s delicious RocaWater. While RocaWater might not be a reality just yet, experts believe that Jay-Z might be unable to resist the urge to make a buck. When asked by reporters if he plans to rap about his experiences peddling the virtues of clean water, he mused that he was easily inspired – and, although he refused to guarantee an album, he insinuated that if he did make an album, it would be awesome. Likewise, although there’s no guarantee that Jay-Z will invent and market natural springs RocaWater, it’s likely that it would come from a factory in New Jersey. Whether or not Jay-Z eventually uses his “Save the World” campaign to market a line of blingtasticlly refreshing RocaWater is irrelevant, what’s important is that he cares and that he’s trying to make a difference. MTV’s documentary “Diary of Jay-Z: Water for Life” will air worldwide in late November, experts believe that Jay-Z’s efforts may be Pulitzer-worthy. | ||||||||||||
