Daddy Yankee Fans Duped By Fake Show | ||||||||||||

| (EZ-Tracks) - When Daddy Yankee fans were recently duped by a fake show in Hardeeville, South Carolina, they went bonkers and attempted to tear the club that was hosting the fake event to pieces. Hundreds of fans had been fooled to see Daddy Yankee, or so they thought, no thanks to an advertising campaign that had been promoted on local radio stations. The fans paid more than $100 at the door in hopes of seeing Daddy Yankee. After the last of the tickets had been sold, the scam artists hopped in their limo and made a quick escape, leaving the club owners to deal with the angry throng. Raging for vengeance, the fans clearly didn’t care who to take out their aggression on, as long as they took it out on somebody; in this case, they took it out on the club. Since reggaeton is not yet a “staple” genre of the music industry, reggaeton artists and their fans more easily fall prey to unscrupulous scam artists. | ||||||||||||
