Keith Richards Disappointed with Today's Drugs

(EZ-Tracks) - In a recent interview, Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones has announced that he’s quit drugs. Not because they’re bad, but because he’s become immune to them, or more likely numb from excessive drug abuse over the past 40-years. Richards recently underwent brain surgery earlier this year after disaster struck while he was in Fiji – it was after this life altering experience that he knew he was done with drugs for good. Richards stated in an interview with Q magazine that he believes the quality of drugs has gone down. However, if you asked Richards about his connection with drugs 5-years ago, he likely would’ve told you that wild horses couldn’t drag him away. Apparently now, he can’t get no satisfaction. Richards also stated in his interview that he doesn’t like the way drugs affect your brain instead of just the blood stream. While this sounds like pure hogwash to many, because all drugs affect the brain, it’s important for people to remember that Richards is quite the expert on drugs thanks to a lifetime of recreational abuse. In regards to his hospital stay, he reportedly enjoyed the morphine.
