Prince to Rock the Super Bowl Halftime Show | ||||||||||||

| (EZ-Tracks) - Prince is back and ready to rock… this time, at the Super Bowl Halftime show. Stepping in line after Paul McCartney and the Rolling Stones, Prince will be the 3rd Rock & Roll Hall of Famer (in a row) to play the Super Bowl Halftime show. The televised game is taking place in Miami on February 4th. CBS is broadcasting and expects a spike in their ratings. The Super Bowl is consistently the highest rated show on television every year. Last year, an estimated 141,000,000 people tuned in for the showdown between Pittsburgh and Seattle. Since Prince is well known for his raunchy tunes, it is yet to be determined what songs he will perform – however, should he decide to get a little wacky, censors are ready to cut the audio to his mic. Last year, Mick Jagger’s voice echoed only for himself as he blurted out racy lyrics in some of his songs. | ||||||||||||
