Much to the delight of silver screen fans around the world, Oscar-winning film composer Bill Conti has prolifically composed tunes for movies ranging from big blockbusters to small art-house entries much of the last several decades. Conti was born on April 13, 1942 in Providence, Rhode Island, and learned piano from his father, an accomplished musician and sculptor.
