Billie Holiday pictures feature the singer known as “Lady Day” and considered one of the first and greatest jazz singers. Holiday got her start singing in Harlem clubs as a teenager and first recorded with Benny Goodman in 1933. Photos and pics show that in the 1930s she was a sensation at the famous jazz club, the Apollo. In the 1940s, she began experimenting with heroin and opium which led to a drastic decline in her health. She died in 1959 at the age of 44.
