Blondie pictures show a New York City-based
band that was one of the most popular groups
to emerge from the late 1970s New Wave
Punk era. In 1979 the group had a number
one hit in “Heart of Glass.” The group’s
second transatlantic chart topper was “Call
Me,” the theme from the movie American
Gigolo. In 1981 the group disbanded to work
