Hoobastank pictures feature a post-grunge
quartet that formed in Southern California in
1994. While the heavy alternative sounds of
acts like Tool and Alice in Chains were the
band’s primary influences, Hoobastank
tempered the gloomier elements of that music
with a suburban California groove and an eye
for accessibility. The group is best known for
their crossover hit, “The Reason” (2004), and
for their continued success in the rock market.
