Jimmy Eat World pictures feature a 1990s Arizona grunge band composed of four kindergarten friends-- Jim Adkins (vocals/guitar) and Zach Lind (drums), Tom Linton (guitar/vocals), and Mitch Porter (bass). It wasn’t until 2001, with the release of Jimmy Eat World, at the band landed on the pop/rock map with spots on MTV's TRL and VH1. A year after its release, Jimmy Eat World was still burning up the charts and modern rock radio, eventually selling 1.3 million copies in the U.S.
