Judy Garland pictures show an Oscar-
nominated film actress who is considered by
many to be one of the greatest singing stars
of the Golden Era of the Hollywood movie
musical. Garland’s turn as Dorothy in The
Wizard of Oz gave her her signature
song, “Somewhere Over of the Rainbow.” As
she matured, Garland became a song and
dance star and eventually toured as a solo
singer, with photos and pics showing that she
was famous for her high energy performances.
She was, however, haunted by her addictions
and died of an apparent drug overdose in
1969.
