Composed of music industry veteran Ben Langmaid (producer/keyboards) and the flame-haired Elly Jackson (singer/songwriter), Britain's La Roux (The Red-Haired in French), crashed onto the scene in fall 2008 with their debut single "Quicksand." The tune received critical acclaim from the BBC, as well as The Guardian, and the duo soon found themselves touring with Lily Allen and set to release their debut album off the Kitsune label in 2009.
