As the subject of an acclaimed biopic (Coal Miner's Daughter), country singer Loretta Lynn's life story is already well-known to millions of people.

Born in 1934 the small town of Butcher Holler, KY, Loretta Webb made her first major foray into the world of country music with her recording of "I'm a Honky Tonk Girl" in 1960.

Webb married Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn when she was just 13 years old. The pair went on to have six children, and remained married until Doolittle's death in 1996, despite having a famously troubled marriage, as detailed in Lynn's autobiographies.
