First gaining notoriety through his work with Shaggy, Rayvon has also proven himself to be a rising rap/reggae MC in his own right. Born Bruce Alexander Michael Brewster in 1970 on the island of Barbados, Rayvon first teamed up with Shaggy after the two discovered a musical affinity for each other at a New York recording studio.
