Known for his powerful voice and wide vocal range, Robert Plant brought the tradition of folk/blues to hard
rock first with
Led Zeppelin and then as a soloist. Born on August 20, 1948, in West Bromwich, England, Page became interested in singing, primarily in the
blues, at a young age and played with John Bonham in the group Band of Joy.
