One of the most acclaimed and influential bands in rock and roll history, the Allman Brothers Band has been dealing their unique blend of southern blues/jazz/R&B music for four decades. The band started to take form in Jacksonville, Florida in 1969 when guitarist Duane Allman convened a jam session including bassist Berry Oakley, guitarist Dickey Betts, and drummers Jaimoe and Butch Trucks.
