Formed in 1955 in Brooklyn, New York, the
Tokens were one of the most successful white harmony groups of the early 60s. They were originally called the Linc-Tones, as the members all hailed from Lincoln High
School in Brooklyn, and also included
Neil Sedaka, who would go on to have a highly successful solo career.
