Vanessa Williams pictures show the first African-American woman to win the Miss USA title. Though she was stripped of her title in a scandal, she emerged to have a successful singing career, releasing her first album, The Right Stuff, in 1988. Her second release, The Comfort Zone, featured the hit single "Save the Best for Last" and went multi-platinum. Williams has won an Academy Award for the single "Colors of the Wind" on the soundtrack to Pocahontas. She has also had roles in several movies, including Soul Food and Eraser.
