Known for their stylish brand of glam metal, Winger rode the genre's popularity to success in the late 80s and early 90s. Winger was formed in 1987 by vocalist Kip Winger, and guitarists Reb Beach and Paul Taylor, all of whom had played in Alice Cooper, along with drummer Rod Morgenstein.
