Pioneers in the Reggaeton genre, Wisin y Yandel have successfully brought the Latin music genre to an international audience. The Puerto Rican duo consisting of Llandel Veguilla Malavé Salazar (Yandel) and Juan Luis Morera Luna (Wisin), met in 1995 when Wisin was studying theater/acting and Yandel was working as a barber.
