Free Music for YP-T10

The Samsung YP-T10 is a super sleek MP3 player. Its control interface is totally touch sensitive, however it is not a touch screen. The lower half of the player is a touch pad and the upper half is a screen. This interesting new design is a refreshing change to the totally touch screen player, and it will prevent fingerprints on the display.

YP-T10 Features

Besides the touch sensitive control system the YP-T10 also features RSS feeds, voice and FM recording functions, and most impressively Bluetooth. The Bluetooth feature allows you to pair the YP-T10 with Bluetooth headphones, and with upcoming firmware updates is supposed to pair with phones as well.

YP-T10 Design

The T10 has a very solid build, and is extremely light and sleek. The headphone jack and the USB connector are on the bottom of the player. The only button on the device is the power/hold button located on the right side of the player. All the other controls are on a flat touchpad. The touchpad lights up when the buttons are pressed, however other MP3 player reviews agree it's a little difficult to get used to. The pad is super sensitive so it will occasionally pick up random little taps by accident. One big downside to this design is the lack of tactile audio controls, making it hard to kill the volume quickly.

Audio Quality of YP-T10

The audio quality, like on other Samsung MP3 players, is very good. The stock headphones aren't amazing, but replace them with something descent and a majority of users will have zero complaints. The player comes with a whole slew of basically useless effect presets, however the EQ itself is seven bands and performs very well.

YP-T10 Interface

The user interface is very visually pleasing. All the menus are well laid out and there are nice animations throughout. Samsung obviously worked pretty hard to make this as easy to use as possible, and they succeeded fairly well. There are also 3 themes to choose from, which is nice because you can get a little bit of customizability.

YP-T10 Performance

The player performs very well, with all the functions working smoothly. The Bluetooth connection is basically flawless, as is the menu system. The hardware performs well too, with an amazingly clear and crisp color display. Pictures and video are both vividly displayed with the YP-T10. The battery life isn't bad, but it could be better. The player does however get the full 15 hours of audio or 4 hours of video that Samsung claims.

The YP-T10 is a good MP3 player and has a lot of nice features, especially the Bluetooth for wireless Bluetooth headphones but the unusually designed touch screen can be hard to use. Its something that will make or break this player for every user individually, but its definitely worth playing with, so go to a mall near you and mess around with it in the store, you might just love it.
