Known for their soft ballads with lush orchestrations, Air Supply rode a wave of popularity in the late 70s and early 80s and they continue to record and perform to this date, making them the most successful Australian band ever. It consists of English guitarist and vocalist Graham Russell and Australian lead vocalist Russell Hitchcock, who first met while performing in the Australian 1975 production of Jesus Christ Superstar.
