Alex Gaudino music biography continued...
at Flying Records and UMM, soon after founding his own label, Rise Records, which became a top European label. As an artist himself, Gaudino's first taste of fame came with his remix of "Is it Cos Im Cool" in the summer 2004. His record, Lil Love Little Love, was nominated by Musica & Dischi as the best Italian dance record of 2005 and was released by Positiva in the UK and reached the top of all the club charts. In 2007, Gaudino's "Destination Calabria" featuring Crystal Waters elevated him to the level of his Data label mates Eric Prydz and Fedde le Grand. It reached number 1 in the European Dance charts in May 2007 and migrated around the world in succeeding months becoming a Top Ten hit in Europe, the United States, and around the globe. Gaudino has since revved up the dance floors with such hits as 2007's Que Pasa Contigo" (feat. Sam Obernik),and 2008's "Watch Out" (feat. Shena), "I'm A DJ" (vs. Nari & Milani feat. Carl) and "I Love Rock'N'Roll" (with Jason Rooney). Gaudino describes his mixing perfectly: "I play music House Music that makes you sweat and shake your ass and you can't ask for more than that!"
