Lavigne scored her first ever Billboard Hot 100 #1 hit to date with the song. In 2006, Lavigne wed Deryck Whibley, frontman for the band Sum 41 and a fellow Canadian. In the same year, she was ranked the seventh most powerful Canadian in Hollywood by Canadian Business Magazine. Contrary to popular belief, Lavigne does not speak French.
