King: The Thrill Is Gone- # 15- Legendary King of the Blues B.B.[Blues Boy] King had been recording since 1949 but never charted a single on the pop charts inside the Top 30 until "The Thrill is Gone" found it's way to the # 15 spot in 70'. While it would be his only lifetime "hit'" on the pop side he has been recognized as a true innovator and was inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in 1987 and awarded the Lifetime Achievement GranID1Y in 87' as well.
