with lead vocalist/guitarist Jaret Reddick, guitarist/vocalist Chris Burney, bassist Erik Chandler, and drummer Gary Wiseman. In 1997, the band relocated to Denton, Texas and behind a rigorous performing schedule recorded a debut EP for the local FFROE label, titled Tell Me When to Whoa! In 1998, Bowling for Soup issued their first full-length album for the indie label, Rock on Honorable Ones!!!, and its statewide popularity led to a major label deal with Jive/Silvertone. . Let's Do It for Johnny! , Bowling for Soup's major label debut, was released in 2000. The album mostly contained re-recordings of their previous material along with a few new tracks and a cover of Bryan Adams' song "Summer of '69." The band wouldn't break through until their sophomore album, 2002's Drunk Enough to Dance, which yielded the Grammy-nominated single "Girl All The Bad Guys Want." A Hangover You Don't Deserve followed two years later, and has become the band's only Top 40 album. Sales of the album were driven in large part by the radio airplay of the single "1985", became Bowling for Soup's biggest hit in the U.S., reaching #23 on the Billboard Hot 100, and putting them on the national map.



Bowling for Soup came back in 2006 with The Great Burrito Extortion Case, which spawned the hit single, "High School Never Ends" and in 2009 with Sorry for Partyin'. Their original mission to record and perform songs that fans can sing and whistle along to has never wavered, and their talent for making their audiences happy is unrivaled.
