grew up in Maryland. She set her heart on career in entertainment at a young age and, after landing roles in some commercials, moved to Los Angeles when she was thirteen to pursue an acting career. She was relatively quickly able to secure small roles in television films and also made some prosperous connections in the music biz. After a meeting with Rodney Jerkins, he inspired her to take a stab at recording music. Lo and behold, a few years later, after a great deal of hard work and determination, Christina appeared in Ja Rule's #1 single "Between Me and You." In addition to co-writing Jennifer Lopez's "Play" and P.Y.T.'s "Same Ol Same Ol," she recorded her self-titled R&B/pop debut album in 2001 and she wowed audiences far and wide as the opening act on *N Sync's stadium tour. Though the album fared far better in the U.K., the single "AM to PM" reached the Top 30 of the Hot 100 chart in the United States, helped along by a massively popular music video. 2004's It's About Time, anchored by the Top Ten hit "Dip It Low," was much more successful. Milian's third album, So Amazin', produced almost entirely by Cool & Dre, was released in 2006.


All told, Milian has released three studio albums and one compilation album. She has also had four solo top five singles (and also a top ten featuring credit single) in the UK as well as hits in the rest of Europe and North America. While maintaining a fast track career, Milian has also managed to become embroiled in a controversial personal life, awash with rumors about infidelity and bisexuality.
