Barry and John and little sister Susan, along with their mom Barbara. They took the music world by storm in 1967 and their first single. "The rain, the park and other things" would peak at the #2 position in December of that year, held out of the #1 spot by the four week run of the
Monkees "
Daydream Believer". It would be a million seller, their first of two. In 1969 they would again reach the #2 spot with the title track from the musical Hair.
