5, 1968 to an Italian father and Swiss mother, the artist took his stage name from a popular European comic book character. His career began spinning records in Swiss dance clubs, but he soon graduated to producing music as well. His first hit as a vocalist was 1992's "Somebody Dance with Me," which reached the Top Ten in several European countries. The album Dance with Me continued his success, and the singer gained fame by touring Latin America and Asia as well as Europe. In 1994 Bobo's second album There Is A Party was released containing the smash hit "Let The Dream Come True" which also reached Gold, #1 in Switzerland, and charted in several European countries, as well as going to # 22 in Israel. Love Is All Around was released in January 1995, and also achieved Top 10 positions in many countries. Supported by elaborate shows and touring throughout Europe, South America and Asia, successive albums would prove equally as successful, showing that Bobo's talent and boundless energy could win over audiences anywhere.



Bobo has received Gold and Platinum status for many of his songs and has found success in Europe (primarily Germany, Switzerland and Bosnia and Herzegovina), Israel, and South America. His more recent songs are a departure from Eurodance, but he hasn't completely abandoned the genre, as seen from non-single tracks such as "Moscow" (2001), "No More Pain" (2003), and "Amazing Life" (2005). Between 1992 and 2007, Bobo had 27 single chart-hits in Switzerland and Germany, and won 10 World Music Awards. In 2007, Bobo represented Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest, but failed to make it out of the semi-finals. In 2007, Bobo was also chosen to sing the official 2008 UEFA European Football Championship song. His fans selected his tune, Olé Olé for that honor. The single will be accompanied by an album "Olé Olé - Party," which includes 5 brand new songs, 9 party hits, a medley and a newly remixed version of his megahit "Everybody."
