began mixing his first vinyls at home at the age of 13, and organized parties in his basement at 15. Two years later, he was working as a DJ in a club called 'Broad', based in Paris. Moving to Ibiza, Guetta started to DJ his world famous, "Fuck Me I'm Famous" parties. By the turn of the new millennium, Guetta had become one of the most in-demand DJs in the world, headlining nights in America, Australia, Japan, South America and beyond. Meanwhile, David's career as a recording artist was launching into the stratosphere. His first two albums Just A Little More Love (2002) and Guetta Blaster (2004) reached double gold in Europe, while the Wally Lopez mix of 'Just A Little More Love' became David's first UK hit in 2003, and remains an Ibiza anthem to this day. In 2005 he was nominated for a Grammy for his remix of Deep Dish's 'Flashdance' and followed with a peerless remix of David Bowie's "'Heroes.'" track. He was named DJ of the Year at London's House Music Awards. Then, in 2006, David Guetta vs The Egg's mash-up 'Love Don't Let Me Go (Walking Away)" was a Top 10 smash around the world. In the UK it held the Top 20 for over two months. At the same time, three Fuck Me I'm Famous triple gold-selling mix CDs spread Guetta's name to the far reaches of the globe.



In 2007, Guetta came out with Pop Life, an album that yielded "Love is Gone" and "Baby When the Light," as well as 12 other tracks that were equally dance floor and pop radio friendly. In 2005, the single "The World Is Mine", which contained a sample of Simple Minds "Someone Somewhere In Summertime", topped European dance charts. Meanwhile, in 2008, he was elected as World DJ No. 5 and best house DJ by the British DJ Mag. Guetta came back with the album One Love in 2009, showing that he could comfortably continue to combine pop and dance floor music in a mixture that the world would crave.
