This legendary rock band that was formed in Los Angeles took flight in the '70s. The original four members that founded the band could hardly imagine the fame that they would soon encounter. With four Grammy awards, The Eagles have managed to last the test of time. The band has had numerous top hits and albums throughout the years and has even made a comeback after years of idleness.

The single “Lyin’ Eyes” off the album One of These Nights won a Grammy. Their Greatest Hits (1971-1975) is an album that was released before their break up in 1980. This album eventually became the best selling album in US history.

Thirteen years later, the band reunited to release Common Thread: The Songs of the Eagles. After the September 11 attacks, The Eagles released the single “A Hole in the World.” Their most recent releases were a live DVD called Eagles Farewell Tour I: Live from Melbourne and are currently in the process of recording The Long Road to Eden, an album fans have been awaiting since 1979.
