The Fifth Dimension: One Less Bell To Answer- # 2- Starting out as a R & B vocal group in L.A in the mid sixties, the Fifth Dimension soon became the post popular group in Pop, Adult and R & B !. Their smooth vocals led by Marilyn McCoo, Billy Davis Jr., Flo LaRue, Lamont McLemore and Ron Townson had already scored # I hits with "Aquarius" and 'Wedding Bell Blues" in 1969 and "One Less Bell To Answer" would become their fourth Platinum certified single in early 71'. McCoo & Davis later formed a duo and left the group in 76' to perform.
