Luke McDuffe (bass), who met vocalist Kenneth Nixon upon entering college, while guitarists Brandon Wooten and Tim Huskinson joined the lineup soon after. Initially, the band posted some demos of their songs on the bands Myspace page. In November 2006, these demos were discovered by Brett Hestla, former Creed bassist and frontman of Dark New Day. Hestla helped the young Nashville based quintet record a two song demo in his Florida studio which captured the attention of Jeff Hanson (Creed, Sevendust, Paramore) and his record label Silent Majority Group. After securing a deal with the label, the band headed to the studio and came up with their debut album, The Moment in six weeks. The first single "Hear Me Now" was released in February 2007 and was heard in high rotation on Sirius Octane, plus XM Squizz and over 50 radio stations nationwide. Supported by Sirius radio and other outlets, the album became an unqualified success. Huskinson left the band in 2008 and was replaced by guitarist Ryan Belcher, who joined just in time to record a cover version of Lil Wayne's "Lollipop" which the group translated into a hard rock anthem. What can fans expect of Framing Hanley? "Passion," says Nixon. "Every song has some type of personal meaning to us as a band.
