Hellogoodbye music biography continued...
in 2001 by high school friends, Forrest Kline, Jesse Kurvink, Marcus Cole, Chris Profeta and Parker Case. In the first two years the group played local shows in Orange County at venues like Chain Reaction (Anaheim, California), The Hub (Fullerton, California), and Koo's Cafe (Santa Ana, California), made a few trips to play in Arizona, and did one mini-tour through Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas with the band Peachcake. Some line-up changes and a deal with indie Drive-Thru Records came about by 2003, followed by the release of a self-titled EP, which has sold over 400,000 copies to date. Hellogoodbye has been almost a constant tour presence since, performing in the "Sounds of Change Tour" with An Angle, Socratic, and Steel Train, as well as other treks with groups such as The All-American Rejects, Motion City Soundtrack, and Panic at the Disco. After three years of being on the road, Hellogoodbye released their first full length record, Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs!, in August 2006. To support the album, the band took to the road again and appeared as headliners for tours in the U.S., Europe, Japan and Australia throughout 2006 and 2007. In September 2008, founding member Jesse Kurvick left the group and was replaced by Joe Marro, former guitarist/keyboardist of The Early November. Hellogoodbye continues, however, to maintain their sunny outlook to the delight of fans everywhere.
