HHB became famous in 1994 with their tremendously catchy remake of Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive." The tune went on to place near the top of the charts in multiple European countries, and became so popular that it was used as a stadium tune for several national sporting events held throughout Europe. It earned the band a contract with Polydor and alongside Ansems, former singers Jop Wijlacker and Robin Maas were asked to record other singles such as "Country Roads" and "Que Sera Sera," which were both featured on 2002's The Album. Since then, HHB has recorded Get Ready to Party (2004), Rhythm of the Night (2008) and Rhythm of the Nineties (2009), as well as a 2008 Greatest Hits compilation. The band, a rite of passage on the Dutch music scene, now has about 75 former members, and a new crop of performers who are making sure the party continues.
