July 15, 1976 in Harlem, New York, Jim Jones got his start in the hip hop group the Diplomats, which included Cam'ron and Juelz Santana. In 2004 Jones released his first solo album On My Way to Church. The album peaked at #18 on the Billboard 200 chart, #3 on the Top Independent Albums chart, and #4 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. His second album, Harlem: Diary of a Summer was released in 2005 and reached #5 on the Billboard 200, based on the solid performance of such singles as "Baby Girl" and Summer 'Wit Miami." Jones' breakthrough album was Hustler's P.O.M.E. (Product of My Environment), which featured Diplomat aka Dipset members along with Lil Wayne. The album spawned Jones' biggest hit to date,
